No batteries, no appA spring does the pitching

Every kid wants one more pitch.

Every grown-up's arm gives out first. So we built a pitcher that never gets tired, never throws one in the dirt and never needs a break. You get to cheer from the porch steps.

A boy bats in the backyard while his dad and grandpa watch from the porch

Three steps. That's the whole manual.

Kids figure it out in about ten seconds.

A boy presses the practice ball into the cup

Load the ball

Press a practice ball into the cup. That sets the spring.

The boy sets his stance while his dad gives a thumbs-up

Step back

Get into the stance. A beat later the ball pops straight up and hangs at the top.

Hit

Hit it. Mark the tick on the Scorecard. Load the next one.

What's inside

Five parts. One job: pop the ball.

No motor, no battery, no app to update. A spring, a hold that lets it go a beat later, and a body molded in one piece. The fewer the parts, the less there is to break.

  • Built for a hundred pitches a nightThe spring is the heart of it, so it's the part we over-build and the part we cover for a full year. A spare rides in every box.
  • The beat before the popLoad the ball and the hold keeps the spring for a moment, long enough to step back and get set. Then it lets go and the ball hangs at the top.
  • What's not insideNo batteries to die mid-game, no wires, no screen. It works the same on day one and day three hundred.

Final parts and materials are confirmed on the production sample before launch.

Our spring plays extra innings.

If it ever quits, we send a new one. For a full year. And there's a spare spring in the box from day one.

Small tee. Big night.

No pitcher needed

The ball pops up on its own and waits at the top. Kids get the reps, grown-ups get the night off.

Timing and confidence

A ball that moves teaches real timing and hand-eye coordination, one pitch at a time.

Screens off, porch light on

Ten minutes after dinner beats an hour on the couch. No app, no batteries, no Wi-Fi.

The whole family plays

Brothers, sisters, grandpa. Ages 4 and up, always with an adult in the yard.

Built for extra innings

A spare spring in the box and a 1-year spring warranty, because the spring is the heart of it.

What makes it Home Run Hour

It isn't a training gadget with a coach's whistle. It's the golden hour for little hitters: a tee that pitches itself, a Scorecard to fill in, games for every night and a spare spring for the day the first one quits.

Most pop-up tees stop at the launcher. We kept going.

Compared with the standard contents of popular pop-up batting tees we reviewed in October 2026.

Safety and ages

Four house rules. Then play ball.

A backyard game with a bat needs a grown-up and a little room. That's the whole safety manual, and we'd rather say it out loud than in small print.

Why we made it

Every evening, the same scene: one more pitch, one more chase across the yard, and an arm that gives out before the kid does. We wanted kids to get real reps on their own while the grown-ups stay close, on the porch steps, at the grill, cheering.

That's Home Run Hour. The backyard's golden hour: after dinner, before dark.

Press a practice ball into the cup and step back into the stance. A beat later the spring pops the ball straight up and it hangs at the top for the bat. No batteries, no app, no pitcher.

No. Use the included practice balls only. They're light, fly short and keep the windows safe.

Yes, with a little room. The practice balls are light and fly short, so a small patch of park, a courtyard or a quiet stretch of driveway is enough. Indoors, use a hallway with nothing breakable behind the hitter and gentle hits.

On a rainy day, yes. Stand it on carpet or a rug, keep a bat's length plus a step around the hitter, and use only the included practice balls. A foam bat makes it a living-room game; a real bat belongs outside.

It's built for a hundred pitches a night, and it's the part we over-build on purpose. There's a spare in every box, and the Extra Innings Warranty covers the spring for a full year: if it ever quits, email us and we send a new one.

That's exactly who it's for. The ball pops straight up and hangs at the top, the same way every time, so a four-year-old gets a fair shot at it. No ducking a bad pitch, no waiting on a tired arm. The Scorecard turns the misses into a game: every pitch is a tick, and every good hit gets a circle.

No. Home Run Hour works with the youth bat your kid already uses. A light bat sized to their height is easiest, and no special bat is needed.
